Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Maple Valley Eye Care Center the leading provider of vision care products and services in Maple Valley.

Dr. Robert K. Neal, OD

Dr. Neal grew up in Glendale Arizona and moved to Forest Grove Oregon for Optometry School after finishing his undergraduate studies at Arizona State University. After graduation from Optometry School in 1999 Dr. Neal and his wife moved to Maple Valley. After several years working for a private practice, Dr. Neal opened Maple Valley Eye Care Center in 2004.

His time at Pacific University included externships in both Honolulu & Portland. Learning specialties ranging from Pediatrics to Geriatrics. He enjoys all aspects of eyecare from routine eye exams to the treatment and management of ocular disease.

While cherishing time with his wife Abbie and 2 daughters, Dr. Neal enjoys golf, fly fishing & sailing. Dr. Neal loves both working and living in Maple Valley.


Dr. Jerianne Montgomery, OD

Dr. Jerianne Montgomery joined Maple Valley Eye Care in the summer of 2015.  She was born and raised in a small farming community in the prairies of Canada.  She completed a degree in Biochemistry at the University of Saskatchewan and earned a medal of excellence from The College of Arts and Science.  She went on to pursue her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo and graduated with distinction on the Dean’s Honor List.  After graduating in 2003, the beautiful west coast drew her to the Vancouver, British Columbia area where she practiced for nearly 12 years, focusing on pediatric and primary care optometry.  She moved to Maple Valley, Washington in 2012 where she and her husband, Matthew, raise their two boys, Tristan and Holden.

Dr. Montgomery is thrilled to be in the Maple Valley area – living and working in this wonderful community.  When not in the office, her spare time is spent at baseball games and football practices.  Go Bears!


Dr. Brandon Morris, OD

Dr. Morris is a native to Maple Valley, where he spent his entire childhood and attended the Tahoma School District. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. Optometry school took him to Pomona, California where he completed his degree at Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry. He completed multiple extern rotations across the western United States including a military base and hospital but ultimately loves the comprehensive eye care of private practice.

He is glad to be back in his hometown serving the community he grew up in and enjoys spending time with his wife Shayla, their daughter Braelyn, and their dog Aspen. When not at work, they enjoy camping, hiking, rock climbing, bike riding and fishing. ​


Dr. Rebecca Velasco, OD

Dr. Rebecca Velasco grew up in Maple Valley, where she attended Tahoma High School and played for the varsity soccer team (go bears!). She attended Gonzaga University where she completed her Bachelor of science in Biology. After graduation she moved to Forest Grove Oregon and obtained her Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University. She spent two years in Denver Colorado working in a clinic which focused on primary eye care and medical optometry.

She is trilled to be back in Maple Valley serving her community. When not in the office, you can find Dr. V with her dog, walking around local trails or golfing.
